TLG has been sick since the weekend (ear infection, poor thing!) and we made an impromptu visit to the local library. While TLG roamed around the bookshelves, I grabbed a few magazines and relaxed.
Miranda Kerr is a hot mama on the cover of August's In Style.
I enjoyed reading the cover story. Miranda seems so grounded despite the glamourous life she lives. And I love her post-partum body! Look at this:
This is from 2009:
Her body is more womanly now. I hope the curves stay.
This shot is beautiful - I love it.
Now onto other pretty things. Here are some lovely dresses from Australian designers:

Colour blocking is such a fun trend and it's easy to wear too. I have not heard of Sara Phillips before. I like the look of her Spring 2011/12 collection Luxor. There are some fun pieces and judging from her previous seasons, the prices are reasonable too. Next time I'm at the Strand I'll look out for her clothes at the Corner Store.
When I'm searching for the model shots above I noticed that the designers have online stores with previous seasons' stocks on sale (here and here and here). I don't think I need any more temptation with shopping! There are my picks from the sale items.
Ginger & Smart Shattered Sleeveless Dress (from $465 to $233)
If they have it in my size I probably would have bought it.
Sara Phillips Kimono Cutout dress ($140! down from $390)
They do have one in my size but I have zero occasion to wear a dress like this. Someone go snap this up!
I'm not done with dresses yet!
Not 100% sure about Penelope Cruz's Pucci dress but it's captivating.
Eva Green in Nina Ricci - so feminine and dreamy
This is from the same Lover collection I wrote about in July's marie claire.
I wished I looked as glamorous as Kristy Hinze (in Sportscraft) when I was up the duff with TLG.
Onto bags. I'm not an Oroton fangirl but this tote looks bright and fun for summer.
The Oroton website doesn't have one in yellow yet but a pink one is on sale for $210. It is a good size and a good price - tempting!
The next bag is definitely in the lemming catagory. Behold the YSL Muse Two Medium leather tote:
I like this colour combo but I love it in purple (Net-a-Porter US, $1250).
And the latest collaboration between Longchamp and Jemery Scott is a hoot!
Now it's time for some bling. Love the colours (the Anton Heunis necklace is my favourite and it's not even my style).
I want Salma Hayek's earrings!
Want an easy pop of colour? Try one of these fun cocktail rings from Lotus Mendes.
I'm keen to go to the Love Lace exhibition at the Powerhouse Museum starting on 30 July. Anyone want to join me?
P.S. I'm not responsible for any spending by CCM readers after reading this post :-P
